2/7 The 2026 Minden St. Jude Chili Cook-off is this Saturday at 10 AM. Enjoy music and good food while supporting St. Jude at the Minden Civic Center, 140 W. Pine, Minden. If you are interested in joining the cook-off, find registration info here.

2/7 If you would rather stay in Shreveport, the Shreveport Writers’ Club Meeting will also be held this Saturday at 10 AM. Bill Porter will be sharing his knowledge about publishing directly through Amazon. The meeting will be held at the Highland Center, 520 Olive Street, Shreveport, Conference Room 1. Parking and entry are at the back of the building.

2/7 Join Gracefully One at 2 PM at Living Grace Family Church, 1229 Southview Circle, Center, TX. Melissa Kovar is the guest speaker for this women’s worship event. There will be a 30 minute meet and greet before worship begins.

2/7 Paint Out Loud Canvas is hosting a Kids Valentine’s Paint Party at 3 PM. Tickets are required and can be found here. This paint party will be at 2750 Shed Road, Suite D1, Bossier City.
