Don't miss the Ark-La-Tex Gem and Mineral Show this weekend, August 16th-17th at the Bossier Civic Center. The hours are Saturday, 9 AM - 6 PM and Sunday, 10 AM - 4 PM. There will be activities for both children and adults including a gravel pit dig, gold panning, a scavenger hunt, hourly auctions of gems and minerals, and demonstrations throughout the show on making arrowheads, jewelry, and more. Jewelry, gems, minerals, and supplies for rock hounds are available for purchase. From dinosaur bones, geodes, rubies, and other rare minerals, don't miss the beauty of God's creation at our local "rock show".
